After the harsh winter the northeast endured, construction at the F-SP YMCA is back in full swing and well underway. The new Y building addition contains a second competition swimming pool, a new state licensed child care center, new Y program classrooms and much needed basement storage facilities. Completion of this last phase of the facility master plan will fulfill this Y’s commitment to the members and to the Scotch Plains and Fanwood communities to provide the continued high quality, family based services it has for decades. Construction is scheduled to be completed this summer. Please click on the following link to view all of the photos of the construction progress; F-SP YMCA Construction Photos .
