CORNERSTONE TEAM

Patrick J. Fucci, Jr., AIA
Project Architect

Patrick J. Fucci, Jr. serves as Project Architect at Cornerstone Architectural Group. He excels at taking client’s ideas and delivering something real and functional for their needs. Since joining the firm in 2001, Patrick has worked across every project type in Cornerstone's portfolio, with particular preference for corporate interiors, healthcare, and industrial projects. New buildings hold special appeal for him as they present an opportunity to put a project together from scratch and figure out how to work with everyone to deliver a desirable space.

Patrick’s particular strength is his attention to detail and the ability to put a building together from the ground up, with a focus on the coordination and organization needed, on paper and during construction, to successfully finish a project. He finds it engaging and rewarding to be able to design the elements of a building and then coordinate details with structure, MEP, civil, and other trades that come together to turn that design into a building where once there was nothing.

He is particularly interested in the bones of a project while it's under construction. The larger and more complicated the building, the more exciting it becomes to watch them go up. Among his notable projects over the years are the Scotch Plains YMCA, Dr. Patel dental office in South Plainfield, The Jameson Bar and Chase Suites at MetLife Stadium, and many of the large warehouse projects Cornerstone has completed. While based in New Jersey, he enjoyed being able to drive by buildings and point out work he'd contributed to, sharing that pride with family and friends.

Patrick values working with interns and younger colleagues. Having been fortunate to have similar mentorship when he started his career, he now readily shares his experience and abilities to help the next generation grow and improve. He enjoys looking at their work and answering their questions, and continues to learn new things himself. In this role, he finds satisfaction in those moments when he can help someone understand a concept and see the lightbulb go on.
